Vellum can be a bit of a pickle to use since it’s transparent and any adhesive you use will most likely show thru. It does work great to soften bold color and patterns or to add a diffused affect. For this card using the Wisteria Wishes bundle, I used a Blending Brush to softly apply Flirty Flamingo and Parakeet Party on the card base. After adhering my stamped and die cut images to the vellum, I was able to adhere the vellum to the card stock by only applying adhesive to the parts the dies touched. Having a small piece of Flirty Flamingo with a stamped sentiment adds a nice pop of solid color and the Elegant Faceted Gems provide some more glow. If you haven’t seen it, we have a new products called Lovely Layers Vellum.This pack of vellum contains sheets with prints as well as plain sheets. The vellum is thinner and more transparent than our standard vellum. The nice thing is that the Lovely Layers Vellum is pre-cut to 3.75 x 5 and is a great size for card fronts or die-cutting without having to cut down an 8.5×11 sheet.
