Thank you for stopping by today! I will have a series of cards using the Wisteria Wishes bundle from the new Stampin’ Up 2022-2023 Annual Catalog throughout this month. Before I move on to the project details, I want to give a quick reminder about the Membership Special for this month only! In addition to getting $125 in product of your choosing for $99, Stampin’ Up is also adding an additional $66.50 in new In Color products! Now onto today’s card. I chose to do a die cut background with one of the Wisteria Dies. You can get these as part of a bundle with the Wisteria Wishes stamp set or as a stand alone. I love the look of ombre with blending brushes. I started out with a piece of Basic White card stock and just applied several colors of pink/red all over. Here I have used Sweet Sorbet, Pale Pink and Flirty Flamingo. Once done I die cut with the Wisteria die on different areas of the paper for specific gradients. Next I adhered them in various directions on a 4 x 5.25 card panel and cut off the excess around the edges. I chose to adhere them down with Tombow, but adhesive sheets would work as well. Tombow was easiest for me as I could move the pieces a little if I didn’t get them exactly where I wanted them. I cut a vellum strip and gently wrapped it around the panel then adhered it with Seal. The sentiment is cut from our Amazing Thanks dies. I used both the outline and script dies and popped them up using a foam sheet. To get the vellum to lie flat on the panel, I applied adhesive behind the sentiment. For finishing touches I took my Basic Black Stampin Write Marker to flick ink splatters, Wink of Stella (also flicked on panel), added some Matte Black Dots and adhered it to a 4.25×5.5 piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock .
All measurements and products will be listed below for you convenience.
I hope you will stop by again on Friday to see what else I’ve created with the Sun Prints suite.
